Admissions

UG ADMISSIONS

B.A, B.B.A, B.Com.LL.B (5 YEAR INTEGRATED)

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary or the Plus Two examination recognized by the Government of Kerala with not less than 45% marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Kerala with the minimum prescribed marks are eligible for being considered for admission to the five-year Integrated LL.B courses. In the case of S.C. and S.T. candidates, the percentage of marks will be relaxed by 5%. The candidates belonging to OBC categories will get a relaxation of 3%. The maximum number of students to be admitted in each integrated course shall be limited to sixty. Out of this, thirty seats shall be filled through the Kerala Law Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Kerala and the remaining thirty seats shall be filled by the Management based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination. The Integrated BA LL.B, BBA LL.B, and B.Com LL.B degree courses are spread over 5 years duration consisting of ten semesters, and each year is divided into two semesters. Each semester consists of 90 working days.

LLB UNITARY (3 YEARS)

Candidates who have passed any Bachelor’s Degree examination of the University of Kerala or any other University recognized by the University of Kerala with not less than 45% marks are eligible for being considered for admission to the first year of the three-year LL.B degree course. The said percentage of marks shall be relaxed by 5% for SC/ST categories and 3% for OBC categories. The number of students to be admitted in the three-year LL.B course shall be sixty. Out of this, thirty seats shall be filled through the Kerala Law Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Kerala and the remaining thirty seats shall be filled by the Management based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination. Each academic year is divided into two semesters and each semester consists of 90 working days.

PG ADMISSIONS

A candidate who has passed the LL.B Degree Examination of the University of Kerala or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Kerala with not less than 50% marks is eligible to be considered for admission to the LL.M Course. A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from any University other than the University of Kerala shall produce the Eligibility Certificate of the University of Kerala. The maximum number of students to be admitted to the LL.M Course shall be limited to fifteen. Out of this, seven seats shall be filled from the Kerala State Entrance Test and the remaining eight seats shall be filled by the management as per the Institutional norms based on merit. The LL.M course is of two years duration consisting of four semesters. Each semester consists of ninety Instructional days. At the end of each semester, there shall be a University Examination. Each paper carries 100 marks which is divided into 60 marks for the University examination and 40 marks for the Internal Assessment. No Student shall be eligible to appear for the University examination at the end of each semester unless the Principal certifies that the candidate has attended not less than 75% of the classes in each paper and that his conduct and progress have been satisfactory.
